Giorgio Squinzi was a personal friend of mine and I was very sad to find out the news of his death today.
A great family man, CEO of world class Building Material Producer MAPEI, sponsor of art (Scala Milan, Guggenheim Venice, ...), respectful for Merchants and Producers of Building Materials.
Winner of Numerous Awards, Chairman of the Italian Employers Federation, past President of EUROFORUM / UFEMAT.
We will always remember his passion for cycling and football as current president of Sassuolo. He was very proud of the “1996 - Paris-Roubaix Cobble” -on his desk in Milano, given after the group-victory (Museeuw, Tafi and Bortolami., three riders of the MAPEI team.)
The Mapei Family Day at the Stelvio, surrounded by his family, friends and clients will always be a warm memory.
